Stand up for equal marriage in Northern Ireland

It's time to stand up and be heard in the fight for equal marriage in Northern Ireland as Conor McGinn's Bill returns to parliament on Friday 11th May.

The former chair of the Labour Party Irish Society and Labour MP for St Helens North's private members bill is back in the House of Commons for a second reading next week.

Northern Ireland remains the last place in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland to deny people marriage equality. The Stormont Assembly have voted in favour; the people of Northern Ireland support it; justice demands it – but the Democratic Unionists stop it every time.

Please write to your MP and tell them to attended and vote for this bill because LGBT people in Northern Ireland have had to wait too long already for marriage equality.
